Apocity: The Greatest Omission

Written by a good friend of the ministry, George Alvarado has not only coined a new word to identify a once nameless sin, but he also examines and boldly exposes the greatest pandemic within western Christianity. Packed with biblical references, lively illustrations, and candid refutations, Apocity: The Greatest Omission, is a much needed admonition for the modern church.

Since George was born again in 2004, he has open air preached in cities like Cheyenne, Ft. Collins, Denver, Colorado Springs, Chicago, and Cambridge, England. He has taught Sunday school for children, preached in Church services, at military and civilian criminal institutions, and has led many evangelistic efforts, as well as mentored aspiring open air preachers.

“I have plead hard with the church in America over the years to realize the importance of real BIBLICAL evangelism and taught against the pragmatism that has infected this nation of Christians.  For the first time, George has put into book format the issue of this nation’s church – that to not evangelize is not only sinful, but very well could mean you’re not saved.  Wake up Church! For you do not know the hour of your Lord’s coming…will He find you laboring as He has demonstrated and commanded in Scripture, or will He find you having a bake sale in the hopes that someone will ask you about “that light” you have shining?  A book that addresses one of the most important issues facing the American church today…”  ~Steve Bauer - Watersource Ministries

"One of the marks of a true believer is the desire and willingness to share the gospel. This book causes believers to examine themselves and consider whether or not this mark is evident in their own lives. Apocity is a much needed wake up call to the church, reminding us that evangelism is not a suggestion but a command from Christ. I have known the author for many years and can say that this book is a reflection of his heart to see the church revived through faithfully sharing the gospel.” – Jason Gilleland, Co-Editor and Evangelist

A much needed admonition!
"Apocity: the Greatest Omission" will encourage and exhort the true believer to actively share the gospel and Biblically reveals the command and reasons to do so. After reading this book, I am left swelled with more zeal not only to find more opportunities to share the message of our blessed Savior, but to exhort more laborers to the field. This book is a much needed admonition for the Church today.

Let this book be your alarm clock!
“Purchase copies of this book to give as an alarm clock. It’s time the noise of silence was broken by those that profess Christ. George Alvarado has done an excellent job in the book, “Apocity,” in defining why silence in sharing the Great Commission is a sin.”

Wonderful Book.. Not an application on how to evangelize, but a book that talks about if you are not evangelizing you are commiting the sin of apocity. Good gift for anyone that is just getting started in sharing the faith.

An excellent and hard hitting look at one of Christ's least obeyed commands.
Never heard of Apocity before? That's because the author coined the term. You may have never heard it before but you'll recognize the truth of it's definition once you read the book. In short Apocity is the failure to share the gospel as Christ commands. This is a sad truth especially in modern evangelical America. Know this though, George doesn't come at this pastorally but rather with the passion of an Evangelist. Above all George comes at this subject in a biblically sound manner. You will probably not like this book. You will find yourself in these pages. Be assured George and I and everyone else have all been apocitic at some time. This is a clarion call to be so no more, for the glory of God and the salvation of souls. I believe this is the type of book that can revolutionize the church should God choose to use it to do so. Every Christian can benefit from this book. Buy it, read it, and share it. God bless!
