Tract Text:

Easter is a fun holiday: hunting eggs and family time, but what’s it really about? It’s the anniversary of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ—the One who died to save us from our sins. Jesus declared, “...I am the First and the Last. I am the living one. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.” (Rev 1:17b-18) How will you do on Judgment Day? Ever lied, stolen, or looked with lust? If you have broken even one of these laws, you’re a lawbreaker. “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.” (James 2:10) Picture yourself in a courtroom, guilty of serious crimes. The judge sentences you to a million dollar fine, or life in prison. Unable to pay, the guard leads you away, then someone steps in and pays your fine. You’re free to go! This is what Jesus did for sinners. He took the punishment by taking God's wrath on the Cross. Then he rose from the dead, defeating death! Repent and put your trust in Jesus today; you may not have tomorrow.
