Tract Text:
The most well-known and well-loved verse in all the Bible is John 3:16.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…
There is no more beautiful truth than this (John 15:13). God loved us so much He sent His Son into the world. Jesus Christ was God in a body of human flesh (John 1:1–14), who came to take away our sins (John 1:29). He lived a perfect, sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21) and died on the cross, as our substitute, to pay for our sins (Romans 5:6–8). Scripture records and history confirms that He rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3–8).
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Don’t ever question that God loves you, but don’t misunderstand it, either. God’s love does not mean there’s no such thing as sin (Romans 3:23) or judgment day (Revelation 20:11–15) or no such place as hell (Luke 12:4–5).
According to John 3:16, we can have everlasting life with God in heaven if we believe on Jesus Christ and trust in what He has done to save us from sin; but the same verse also says that those who reject Him will perish (in hell) instead (Luke 13:3–5).
The Bible makes it abundantly clear (1 John 5:13). We’re sinners (Romans 3:23). We need a Savior (John 3:7). Jesus Christ is the only Savior (Acts 4:12). Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive His salvation (Acts 16:31), or reject Him and suffer His judgment (John 3:36).
It’s up to you. What you choose to do with Jesus Christ and His love (1 John 3:16) will determine the eternal destiny of your soul.
