Are you like most people who say “I know God” or “I know Jesus” or even “I’m a spiritual person?” Well none of that really matters in the end.. The question you need to ask is “Does God/Jesus know me?” Am I on His guest list for Heaven? Jesus said: “To know Him is eternal life” (John 17:3). Not to feel spiritual or have a general idea of Him. Not to go to church or sing in the choir. Knowing means having a new relationship with Him and with Sin. You become a new creature desiring holiness and righteousness without which no man will see the Lord (Heb 12:14). The bible tells us that our hearts are deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (Jer 17:9). Until you’re awaken by the Holy Spirit to see this you won’t realize your need or see yourself in a dire, desperate condition: fallen and sinful. None of us seeks for God (Rom 3:11); up till we’re brought under the weight of our conviction of having violated God’s Law, cause if we offend in one point we’re guilty of all, we will not earnestly seek God with our whole heart. To be a guest at God’s Eternal banquet you must submit to His Lordship, repent of your sins and follow Christ Alone the Only one who keeps Heaven’s Guestlist..

How do you know you believe in the Lord to assuredly be on Heaven’s guestlist? You can just say you believe, but the demons also believe and tremble (Jam 2:19). Is your faith more than demon faith? Do you tremble at God’s word and have His fear in you? Only those who have the fear of God truly know Him and keep His word. Here’s a test: Have you denied yourself in self-loathing for what the bible says you are which is dead in trespasses and sins (Eph 2:1)? Have you mourned over your wretched condition (Mat 5:4) seeing only Sin from your head to your toe (Isa 1:6). Has your life been marked by one of penitence broken over Sins that easily entangle? Are you now diligently following Jesus? If you said no to any of these questions you may want to examine yourself to surely be on God’s guestlist. When you come to recognize your current state, you see the only escape is found in the provision of God’s Son Jesus Christ whom was sent as our substitute/sin-bearer on the Cross; paid the penalty & bore in His body the punishment for our sins which should have fallen on our heads. God being satisfied with the perfect life/death of His Son to atone for sin, raised Him from the dead declaring the sinner who puts their faith in Jesus justified in His eyes. Now you can know with certainty if you’re on Heaven’s Guestlist.
