What a treasure it would be if this was really worth a million dollars. There is a story of a man who found a treasure hidden in a field, after finding it he covered it back up. Then in his joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field. The treasure was worth everything. The most valuable thing you have is your life. Imagine how much more eternal life in heaven would be worth. But there's a problem. To enter heaven we must be perfect. Our conscience shows us this is not possible. We lie, we steal, we look with lust (the bible calls lust adultery of the heart), and we hate others. This is called sin which is breaking God's law. The punishment for sin is death; eternal death in hell. Knowing this God has provided a way for you to be forgiven. He gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to be as sin in His death on the cross. Then He was raised three days later defeating death. He took the punishment we deserve so that if we repent, that is recognize, confess, and turn from our sins to God, He is faithful to forgive us and grant us eternal life. Repent and trust in Jesus Christ today. A Christian is a new creation evidenced by a desire that will compel you to live for Christ, read your bible, and join a bible preaching church.
