TV preachers promise that with positive thinking, dreaming big, and donating money to them, you can have your “BEST LIFE NOW” of health, wealth, and an easy life. The truth is God doesn’t promise wealth, health and ease, but ETERNAL LIFE, forgiveness of sins, and persecutions for righteousness. Are you good enough for eternal life in Heaven? Answer honestly: Have you lied, stolen (regardless of value), or looked with lust? Jesus said just “looking” is the same as adultery. Even one sin results in an eternal Hell because God is Holy. Imagine a man in a courtroom; guilty of serious crimes. He’s tried, convicted, and sentenced to prison or a million dollar fine. With no means of payment, the judge instead steps down and pays it for him! Although he's guilty, his fine has been paid and justice satisfied! The judge was merciful AND just. This is what Jesus did. Fully God and fully man, Jesus lived a sinless life. In love He took God's wrath and penalty for sin on the Cross. Then He rose from the grave showing the penalty fully paid. God commands you to repent and trust in Jesus ALONE, not in your "good works.” Cry out to God for mercy and put your faith in Jesus, forsaking your sins. God will change your heart to desire Holiness. ETERNAL LIFE is the BEST LIFE.
