The Fine Print: This information does not represent any religious group, category or church, but only represents what the Holy Bible says.
God loves us so much that He wants everyone to know for 100% certain (and to know it ahead of time) how they can go to Heaven when they die!
Can You Really Know?
You may be thinking that no one can know this for certain, until after death... But, read this promise God gave us in the Bible:
"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life..." (I John 5:13)
Do you think it's possible to want to go to Heaven and not be able to?
Jesus said: "Many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able" (Luke 13:24)
How About Good People?
But, you might be thinking: "I'm basically a good person, hoping that's good enough to make it" Want to find out? Give yourself this little test to see if you will be good enough to get into heaven. For this test, try to view your life as God sees it, using just 3 of the 10 commandments.
Number 3: "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain" (Exodus 20:7)
Even saying "Oh my God!" is offensive to Him. His very name is holy. If you have done this, God calls it blasphemy.
Number 5: "Honor your father and your mother." (Exodus 20:12)
Question: Have you always obeyed and honored your father and mother?
Number 9: "You shall not bear false witness (don't lie)" (Exodus 20:16)
"...All liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone" (Revelation 21:8)
So, how did you do? If you were standing face to face with Holy God, right now, would you be innocent or guilty of breaking His commands? The Bible says:
"For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all" (James 2:10)
You see, to get into Heaven on your own goodness, you must have always perfectly obeyed all ten commandments. The Bible tells us that no one (not even one person) has perfectly obeyed the ten commandments. (Romans 3:10)
Great News!
There is great news: Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin!
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God." (I Peter 3:18)
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)
The Only Way?
That means Jesus is the only way to get into Heaven.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Receiving Jesus Christ results in having eternal life, in Heaven.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of god..." (John 1:12)
We are all God's creation, but because of our sin, we are not his children. He wants us to become His child and for us to obey Him out of love, and because of what He did for us.
"We love Him because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19)
So What Now?
Here's how you can be saved...
Jesus said, "Repent and believe in the gospel (Mark 1:15)
Repentance involves agreeing that what God says is true; He won't overlook the guilty, we are all sinners, and Christ has died for our sins. This will lead to genuine sorrow, shame and even hatred for what we have done. It will also result in a lifestyle of turning away from sin, and trusting in Jesus alone for salvation.
Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27)
It's not just a one time prayer it is a whole new lifestyle.
He's perfect, and unlike all others, He never sinned. We can absolutely trust that what God says in the Bible to be 100% true. We must do this by faith. (Hebrews 11:1)
Would you consider repenting and surrendering your life to Jesus Christ? Don't delay, you can do this now, even today! Jesus, who is also God, and part of the trinity is the only person in whom we can always and completely trust.
The Worst News:
Few will be in Heaven after they die and many will be in Hell. (for ever and ever) (see Matthew 7:13-14)
The Greatest News:
You too, can know for 100% certain that
you'll be in Heaven for all eternity. (see 1 John 5:13)
The Bottom Line Is: we are offered salvation as a gift of God's love and grace. We don't deserve it, nor can we earn it. He offers this, but we must fully trust in Jesus Christ, with true repentance and full surrender of ourselves to Him.
To see how king David cried out to God in repentance, read Psalm 51 below. Our hearts should have a similar desire when we realize our sin against God.
Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight, That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. (Psalm 51:1-10)
The Gift: When you repent and surrender your life to Christ, the gift - the miracle, is that God gives to you His nature, which is His Holy Spirit to live inside you. That gives to you the desire, the power and courage to love, serve, honor and obey Him, and with it He gives to you His peace and His joy.
Please, make peace with God today... Cry out to him in prayer and surrender your life to Him. The prayer you just read is a good example of what you can sincerely and earnestly tell to God as you pray.

As a new Christian, here are some good steps to follow (remember, the power of the Holy Spirit will enable you to do these things):
1) Talk to God in prayer daily, (Philippians 4:6-7)
2) Read the Bible often, (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
3) Go to a church that believes the Bible to be 100% true and be with others who have also repented and surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 10:25)
4) Tell others how they too can know for certain, that they can be in Heaven when they die. (Matthew 28:16-20
5) If there is someone who has been praying for you, tell them about your new life in Christ. They will be excited.
