The Mystery
Between You and God
[a man separated from God]
Sin separates us from God. Sin is breaking the Law of God, The 10 Commandments (Ex. 20:1-17). Idolatry (Putting things first in your life other than God or making a god in your mind to suit yourself), using God’s name in vain, not observing the Sabbath day, dishonoring your parents. hating (which is murder in your heart - 1 John 3:15), lusting (which is committing adultery in your heart - Matthew 5:28), stealing, lying, and envying are all sins in God's eyes. The Bible says: “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” (James 2:10). God sees what is in our minds and hearts (Jeremiah 20:12). It won’t help if we start doing all the right deeds and good works to be righteous (Isaiah 64:6 & Ephesians 2:9). “For all have sinned, and fallen short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23). “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). We are all guilty of breaking God’s Law and there is a penalty for it. “It is appointed unto men once to die but after this the Judgment [Day]” (Heb. 9:27). If you die in your disobedience and sins, you deserve nothing but the wrath of God (Romans 1:18 & Colossians 3:6). The Word of God says clearly that you will not inherit eternal life, (1 Corinthians 6:9-10), But will have your part in the lake of fire, where you will be tormented forever and ever (Revelation 21:8).
[The Cross]
God provided a way out. He gave His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:16) who lived a sinless life (1 John 3:5), died on the cross and shed His blood to pay the penalty for our sins (Colossians 1:14). He was buried and on the third day He rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Don't just believe in what Jesus did, Trust in His payment for your sins. The Bible says that even demons believe and tremble (James 2:19). Biblical Salvation is believing that Jesus is the (only) way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Confess and Forsake (turn away) from your sins (1 John 1:9 & Acts 3:19). Place your faith and full trust in Jesus Christ alone and what He did on the Cross (Hebrews 11:6 & Proverbs 29:25). The Blood of Jesus will cover your sins and purify you (Hebrews 9:22). God will then see you as righteous and with no sin.
Gambling with Your Life?
When you face God on Judgment Day, if you have turned from your sins and placed your faith in Jesus Christ, you will face Him as your Savior. If you have not, you will face God as a Judge, who will pour out His anger and wrath upon you. (Romans 2:5-9). He will have every right to condemn you and send you to hell for eternity. Don’t gamble with your life! Repent and place your faith in the Savior. Do it today – you may not have tomorrow.
Homework?
Do your homework! Investigate whether these claims are true. Count the cost. “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.“ (Luke 9:23) Whatever you decide, give it your all. Be cold or be hot, don’t be lukewarm (Revelation 3:16).
Pray
If God has shown you sins and your desperate need for Him, cry out to Him and ask Him to have mercy on you, to grant you repentance and faith. Ask Him to give you salvation through His Son. Only God can save you. Cry out to Him until He does.
Good fruit
“You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (Matthew 7:16-19) The bible says “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith” (true believers) (2 Corinthians 13:5). “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 7:21-23). The Bible also says that your true conversion as a believer of Christ will eventually show the following good fruit (evidence) in your life: Repentance, Faith, purity, surrender to God’s will, submission to His Word, humbleness, thankfulness, forgiveness, good works, wanting to share Christ and His salvation with others, holiness, obedience, righteousness, and love for others like you love yourself. You will also display the fruit of the Spirit: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23). Do not be deceived! (Galatians 6:7)
Key Verses
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)
“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. (Luke 9:23-24)
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

Love God and all people (Mark 12:29-31). Pray to God constantly (Philippians 4:6-7). Read the bible daily (Joshua 1:8).
