Tim McGraw said in one of his country songs, “I may be a real bad boy, but baby I'm a real good man.” Almost everyone understands what it means to be bad, but do we really know what it takes to be a good person? Are you a good person? Let’s find out. How many real lies have you told in your life? If you have told any, you would be a liar. Have you taken items that did not belong to you? If any, you would be a thief. Jesus said that if you even look with lust (sexual desire) you commit adultery in your heart. Have you ever looked at someone else with lust outside of marriage? If you have done these things, you would be guilty of breaking 3 of the 10 commandments, and God must administer justice by sending you to Hell for eternity. Even though we are all going to die one day and face God guilty, God sent Jesus, born sinless, to die in our place to satisfy His justice and wrath that is upon us (John 3:36). Then Jesus rose from the dead so that we can have eternal life! The Bible teaches that mankind has a death sentence upon them because of their sin (Romans 5:12), but Jesus came so that we can be born again and have our crimes dismissed (Romans 5:18)! You must repent (turn from sin) and trust Jesus to save you from your sin today! You might not have tomorrow.
