I had a dream last night, in it I seemed to be standing in a dark, hot place. I could hear screams & cries all around me! I then saw an assembly of evil spirits. Sitting in the middle on a throne was their ruler, Satan, holding the scepter of wickedness in one hand & summoning his subjects around him with the other.
Then a loud & hideous voice came from Satan as he said,
"Who will go to earth & persuade mankind to give me their souls?"
One of the surrounding spirits said, "I will go."
"And how will you persuade them?" Satan asked.
"I will simply make them believe that there is no Heaven.” was his answer.
But Satan replied, "No, that will never work. You will never be able to force such a belief on most of mankind. The thought of a better life to come is too deep-seated in their hearts.”
Then a second spirit spoke up and said, "I will go."
"And how will you persuade them?" asked Satan.
"I will convince them that there is no Hell, & therefore no dread to fear after death!”
But again Satan answered, "That will not work! You will never convince most men of that. Man's conscience will lead them to believe that there must be some justice after death for those whom they view as evil among them. No! No, we must have something else, something which will appeal to all of them, people of every age, race, class… something that will be acceptable to the human race as a whole."
Just then another dark spirit glided forward & said, "I will go, Master."
“And what will you tell them?" Satan asked.
"I will tell them the simplest of lies," the spirit answered, "that there is no hurry…no hurry at all. There’s always tomorrow… to get right with God, to look into this ‘Christ business’… the young will be easily persuaded, after all, they have their entire life ahead of them. Look into it when you’re older is what I’ll tell them... Those in mid life, well, they’re so busy already, it will be almost too easy to have them put it off… & the elderly, they’ve lived this long without ‘God’ and done just fine on their own, besides, what’s one more day? Tomorrow will be soon enough!"
Satan laughed with pleasure! He knew this spirit could ruin many souls. Because life is so precious & time is so short.
This was the spirit chosen to go, and still he is abroad in the earth whispering to the hearts of men: There is still plenty of time to find God… There is no hurry.

The sound of the second hand moving across the face of the clock. Statistics tell us that for every second that passes on that clock, 2 people die. Someone, somewhere, has just taken their final breath. And it’s not just the elderly, or people in third world countries. It happens all around us, our Friends, Neighbors, Co-Workers, Family, Husbands, Wives, Fathers, Mothers, Children…160,000 people every day walk out of this life, & into Eternity. All these people are either going into Heaven…or Hell. No turning back, no second chances. And the sad truth is that most of them are going into Hell. A recent poll indicated that for every American who believes they’re going to Hell, there are 120 who believe they’re going to Heaven. But this goes against what Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14:
“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, & its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow & the road is difficult, & only a few ever find it.”
Are you one who has been persuaded to let your relationship with God wait? Are you ready to find the “narrow gate”? It’s open to anyone who will enter, & the admission is FREE! Don’t wait too late, none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.
God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.
2 Corinthians 6:2
“For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
Salvation is simple, so that all may have access to God and His kingdom.
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
If you want to make today your day for asking Jesus to grant you eternal life with Him in Heaven, but you’re not sure what to say, you can pray something like this:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I confess that I do not measure up to Your perfect standards. I know You died for me, & I accept You in my heart this day as my Savior. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins, & help me to walk daily in Your steps & learn Your ways.
I thank You for Your forgiveness & Your gift of Eternal Life.
