In this present time, we are brought to think that God is heaven, the devil is hell and man is in earth. In reality, people don’t make their own destiny, the devil doesn’t send anyone to hell and by not believing in one doesn’t get you to heaven. The truth is in this life we’re only really rescued from an everlasting judge to an everlasting redeemer—that is, God saves us from Himself, by Himself and For His Own Glory. As Jesus said “Don’t fear men who can kill the body, but fear God who, after He has killed has the power to cast in hell (Luke 12:5). We are saved from God the Judge and given over to God the Redeemer through faith in the One and Only Savior for men Jesus Christ the Lord. Our sins (throughout life) has put us ALL in a massive debt to God that will/must be paid. And that payment was “Paid in Full” when Jesus Christ went to the Cross, bore our sins, died and was resurrected from the dead having accomplished salvation for all those who would ever come to believe in Him. The justice of God was satisfied and His wrath appeased when He raised His Son declaring His perfect sinless life and now that life can be placed on the account of the sinner who believes; conversely Jesus died the death required of the sinner for their life of sin—For the soul that sins shall surely die (Ezekiel 18:20).
This is the Gospel; the only good news to deliver you from the wrath to come! Today is the day (and might be your last) of Salvation—Repent biblically of your sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved not only from your sins and judgment in hell, but from God who is the Savior of all and for all!
